Vic Blake is a writer of both non-fiction and fiction although more recently he has turned his attention much more to fiction.
On this site you will find examples of his finished poetry and other writing, as well as updates on projects currently in-hand.
Books so far published are ‘So Anyway… a collection of short stories’ and ‘Murmurations, a collection of poems’. He has also been working for some time on his first novel, ‘The Name of the Witch’, which he hopes to finish by the end of 2026.
His literature draws upon an extensive range of experience, both personal and professional, drawing – among other things – upon his insights into criminology, sociology, psychotherapy, philosophy and gender studies, as well as his own complex background and his time spent living in Galicia in the North West of Spain.
He describes his work as being a sustained, if mostly gentle assault upon the Comfort Zone.
